Thank you for your interest in the NRA Pistol Course sponsored by the Holyoke Revolver Club. We have graduated over 1,500 safe shooters. No experience is necessary but you must be 21 years of age to apply for pistol permit (LTC).

You must bring a government issued picture ID.

A National Rifle Association Pistol Course Certificate and a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.

DATE: Saturday: September 18, 2010

TIME: 8:00A.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a break for lunch. A light lunch will be provided. Water and soda is available for purchase.

LOCATION: The HRC Indoor Range is located in rural Holyoke.

NOTE: Map Quest & Google are wrong!

You cannot follow Cherry Street to the Club from downtown Holyoke. Also your GPS will send you the wrong way.

DIRECTIONS:
From Interstate 91 take exit 17B, Rte 141West toward Easthampton.
*Southbound exit ramp ends at a stoplight, turn right on Rte 141W
*Northbound exit ramp leads up a hill to the same stoplight, go straight through on Rte 141W
- from the 17B light, follow Rte141W .8 of a mile, then turn Left on Southampton Rd. (Just past Holyoke Rehabilitation Center)
-Continue on Southampton Road . .75 of a mile, turn Left on Mountain Rd.
-Continue .7 of a mile on Mountain Rd., turn Left on West Cherry St (street sign is amid a string of mailboxes on the right). HRC is at the very end on the left (.6 mi)

DO NOT BRING GUNS OR AMMUNITION. All handguns, ammunition, targets and supplements will be provided. The student textbook, The Basics of Pistol Shooting, will be mailed to you once we receive your registration and payment. Please study it prior to the course.

EAR AND EYE PROTECTION ARE MANDATORY while on the firing line. Either the earmuff style or good quality ear plugs or protective clear glasses are recommended. Please wear durable easily cleaned clothing as this is a shooting range.

COST: $100.00 which is payable in full and in advance to reserve your place in the class. This fee is non-refundable, but rescheduling will be allowed for the next two subsequent classes.

Remember! This course has limited enrollment. Please fill out the registration form and mail your $100.00 fee without delay. Courses fill up fast. The first 20 applications received will be assigned to this course. The balance will be notified of the next course date, every third Saturday of the month.
